    About Mate Health

Male fertility testing should be easier to access and easier to understand.

Mate Health was built to help men get evaluated earlier in the fertility process, with clinical-grade semen analysis collected at home and analyzed in a CLIA-certified, CAP-accredited high-complexity andrology laboratory.

For too long, fertility testing has often started with one partner while male testing is delayed, skipped, or treated as an afterthought. Our platform combines at-home collection, validated temperature-controlled transport, expanded semen analysis, and report interpretation designed to support physician review.

Patients can collect privately at home, while physicians receive lab-based results that are formatted for clinical use. Mate Health was founded by a team with experience across diagnostics, healthcare commercialization, laboratory partnerships, software, and patient access, including more than two decades at Abbott Laboratories and leadership at Blue Cross Blue Shield. Our focus is simple: make male fertility testing more complete, more accessible, and easier to act on.

Our mission is to remove the barriers that delay male fertility testing and make clinical grade semen analysis from home an early, routine part of fertility evaluation for every couple.
